Next Steps
There's not many things more exciting than seeing a baby take their very first steps, or seeing a teenager grow up and become a responsible adult. All throughout life we grow through all kinds of seasons. We are constantly learning and growing. The same is true for our spiritual lives. We start by turning from our sins and placing our faith and trust in Jesus Christ. As we grow spiritually we take small, incremental steps that mature us in Christ. The Bible says, " All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." (NKJV). How amazing that God wants to "prepare and equip us to do every good work." How about you? What is is your Next Step? We're here to help encourage you as we grow together in Christ.
Faith
Ephesians 2:8-9
The Bible tells us that we all have sinned and that our sin separates us from God. But God loves us so much that He sent His Son Jesus to die on the cross to pay for our sins. When Jesus rose from the grave He conquered sin and death so that we could be saved. When we believe this, we can place our faith and trust in Jesus to be saved from our sin. Baptism
Matthew 28:19
Once we have place our faith and trust in Jesus the "Next Step" of obedience is baptism. Baptism is a picture of what the Lord Jesus did for us on the cross. We are proclaiming that we believe that Jesus died, was buried, and rose from the grave! For more information about baptism please click here and contact us.
Growing
1 Peter 2:2
As we continue in our faith in Christ we will grow. Just like a flower or plant was created to grow, so are we. We grow spiritually as we read, study, and live out God's Word in our lives. One of the ways we can facilitate that growth is to get connected to a Sunday morning class. For more information about growing please click here and contact us.
